Activity Overview
Engineering a Park Cleanup presents a common problem—trash in a public park—and invites participants to help solve it. While designing a tool to help remove trash, participants reflect on their own options for reducing trash.
- Ages 6–12
- Ages 4+ with family groups or caregivers
- Setting: STEM nights, libraries, community centers
- 1 activity, 10–20 minutes
