Activity Overview
Engineering a Toy Rescue presents a common problem—getting a toy out of a tree—and invites participants to help solve it. While engineering a design to rescue a toy drone, participants reflect on how their design might change depending on the type of tree.
- Ages 6–12
- Ages 4+ with family groups or caregivers
- Setting: STEM nights, libraries, community centers
- 1 activity, 10–20 minutes
