YES STEM Event Activities
YES STEM Event Activities are open-ended, hands-on challenges with real-world contexts that engage learners with the engineering design process. Activities can be completed by youth or family groups in as little as 10–20 minutes, making them perfect for family engagement nights, libraries, community centers, recreation centers, and after-school programs. Youth aged 6 to 12 can engineer with each other or with a family group. With caregivers, children as young as 4 can engineer too!
YES STEM Event Activity kits contain instructions, posters, and hands-on materials—everything needed to implement an engineering activity for up to 20 groups of 3–5 people. Expansion kits are available to support larger events.
